Still remember mai 1st dae in de army...
Felt 'secure' when i met ma sec sch buddy in de island...
(he wuz on duty dat day.. N boi wuz i wrong...)
4 de 1st time in ma lyf, cut 'botak'... (long locks all gone..)
Shed a tear when we had 2 make a compulsory call home at nite...
Aaawww... (so touchin'...)


Well 4 16 weekz, i wuz in PTP Enchanced BMT,...
Suffered n Enjoyed in Viper Coy, BMTC Sch 2...
Peepz i wun 4get...
De whole of Viper Platoon 4...! (will nvr 4get u guyz...)
N ma commanderz/instructorz...
(All ORD liao... so NS men now..)

Wuz posted 2 SISPEC Golf Coy BSLC Plt 3...
Time there wuz pure maddness...
Had 2 endure sh!t after sh!t... (crap after crap...)
But managed 2 survive it wif de help of ma sectionmatez...

On 27th Feb 2003, completed BSLC after...
De most tiring crap i've eva...
Eva endured in ma entire lyf... (nuthin can eva top dat...)
The 32Km Route March in Full Battle Order...(N i mean really FULL...!)
After dat straight away, wuz de graduation parade...
Si bei xiong ah...
Almost died-ed dat veri nite but luckily...
Encouragementz nvr stop cummin... (thx guyz...)


Promoted 2 de rank of Corporal...(skipped LCP...)
N den came another shocker...
Had 2 stay N continue another 12 more wkz 4 ASLC... (BAH..!)
But luckily remained in de same plt N sect... (thk God..!)


Well, ASLC wuz much more interestin...
But only bad luck wuz our planned Taiwan trip...
We were all set 2 go...
Visas were ready, rationz all packed, airlines were confirmed...
Hell, even got a chinese name created 4 me..! (4gotten it liao...)
We basically all set N ready 2 go...
Den our CO told us de bad newz...
De trip had 2 b cancelled due 2 de SARS outbreak... (WAAAAHHH!!!)
We were devastated... (heart broken into pieces...)
All preparationz gone 2 waste...
So sianzz dat time... (damn tu lan also...)
De worst thing happened next wuz dat we had 2...
Do our exercises in freakin' Singapore... (Aaarrgghh..)


Aniwaez, barely scraped through ASLC... (hehehe...)
So on the 23rd May 2003,...
i became 3rd Sergeant Shahid... (hahahaa...)
N a whole new chapter of mai army life unfoldz...
Budden i tink i diz post iz long enuf...
Will continue mai army experiences tmr/Fri...
